The Bessemer 4th of July Committee is seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as Vice Chairperson. This leadership role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys giving back to the community and helping preserve one of Bessemer’s most cherished annual traditions.

As Vice Chairperson, you will work closely with the Chairperson and other members of the board to help plan, organize, and coordinate the many activities that make the Bessemer 4th of July celebration a success. Responsibilities include attending board meetings, assisting with event planning and volunteer coordination, supporting fundraising and sponsorship efforts, helping oversee committee projects, and stepping in to assist the Chairperson when needed.

This position also serves as an important leadership role for the future of the organization by learning the responsibilities of the Chairperson and helping ensure a smooth transition of leadership over time.

No previous board experience is required—just a willingness to contribute, collaborate with others, and support the continued success of the Bessemer 4th of July celebration. If you’re passionate about community involvement and want to make a lasting impact, we’d love to have you join our team.
