Golf Event at Massie Field

Bessemer Blast will hold a Golf Event at Massie Field on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 from 12 noon to 3pm.

This is a one-of-a-kind event that will be held on the Massie Baseball Field, at the corner of N Moore St. and Silver St.  This is a FREE event sponsored by The Ashe Family.

There will be prizes for all age groups from youngsters to adults. Contestants will have five (5) chances to hit a golf ball from home plate, trying to get into a circle around different prizes.

There will be three (3) flag placements – approx. 25 yds., 50 yds. and 150 yds. There will be a prize near every flag and other prizes placed throughout the field.  Contestants can use their own golf clubs or ones that will be provided.

Each contestant will receive one (1) participation gift.

Prizes will be given to golf balls that end up in a prize circle. One prize per contestant.

The prizes will be awarded during the event.
